Dawn CBD/THCV 300mg

ABOUT PRODUCT

Dawn is a first-of-its-kind formualtion of cannabinoids and terpenes engineered to help you face the day. Sourced from the highest quality GMO and pesticide-free hemp, each 1-ounce bottle contains 300 mg of full spectrum CBD, high levels of THCV, and an energizing terpene blend of Eucalyptol, Pinene, Limonene, and B-Caryophyllene.

OK, I’m intrigued. But do you lab test your products?

Dawn is tested for potency, contaminants, and quality three times before being packaged and shipped to you, and is both 3rd-party and batch tested. Every bottle of Dawn comes stamped with a unique lot number which you can use to look up the test results of your specific batch. If you're curious, our most recent lot number is 20W3334, and you can find the COA for that here.

How do I use Dawn?

Squeeze a full dropper of Dawn under your tongue and hold it for 30-60 seconds before swallowing. If you want to take more, take more. If you want to take less, that’s fine, too. Everybody (and every body) is different.

What should I expect?

How and when you see the benefits of taking Dawn depends on a number of factors, including how fast your metabolism works and how much you weigh. Most people will feel a difference within a day or two of beginning a morning regimen, but for others it may take up to two weeks, so please be patient (and consistent).

Will this get me high?

No. Neither CBD nor THCV (nor terpenes, for that matter) will get you high. That said, please be mindful that full spectrum CBD products can trigger false positives for drug tests. If that is a concern, please feel free to email us at hi@gossamer.co for more information on that.

Great, that’s good to know. But what are CBD and THCV?

CBD and THCV are cannabinoids. All humans (and all vertebrates, actually) have what is called an endocannabinoid system (or ECS, for short.) Your ECS is made up of receptors found throughout your body—in places like your brain, spinal cord, and digestive system, among others—which help keep your internal systems in balance. (Science calls this “homeostasis.”) These receptors respond to cannabinoids—both ”endogenous” ones that humans produce and “exogenous” ones that we get from greenery, like, say, cannabis.

Got it. CBD is a cannabinoid. But what does it do?

Unlike THC, CBD is non-intoxicating (read: it won’t get you high). CBD also operates a little differently. Instead of binding directly to your ECS receptors, it merely stimulates them, which in turn impacts how other cannabinoids bind to those receptors—and how your body reacts to them. Preliminary research shows CBD is effective in modulating pain and decreasing anxiety, both of which go a long way toward some of CBD’s other benefits. It’s also a potent anti-inflammatory.

What about THCV?

THCV is a cannabis-derived naturally occurring compound. Like all cannabinoids, there needs to be a lot more research into THCV, but it has been found to promote energetic and alert feelings, as well as decrease anxiety, especially around panic attacks. Rodent studies, general cannabis studies, and anecdotal evidence have shown that THCV can increase metabolism, decrease appetite, and boost satiety, so we caution those who may already have difficulty eating to be mindful of these potential effects.

I've heard people talk about the "entourage effect." What is it?

The “entourage effect” is when cannabinoids work in concert to increase their therapeutic benefits and effects. Think of it as the cannabinoid version of “it takes a village.” It’s also why we recommend full spectrum products (not just ours) over isolate ones.

Why a tincture?

The most efficient way to take CBD is sublingually. But this doesn’t mean just taking a dropperful and swallowing it. As we say in our directions, you should hold it under your tongue for at least 30 seconds (and ideally 60) for maximum absorption, and then swallow. Ingesting CBD directly (in food or drink) means processing it through your liver, and you lose up to 70% of the active cannabinoids that way (and put an unnecessary tax on your liver).

FAQS

What is Delta-8 thc?

Delta 8 THC is one of the many cannabinoids found in cannabis and hemp plants. The structural difference between Delta-8 and Delta-9 THC is the location of the double bond on the carbon atom chain; as their names suggest, Delta-8 has a double bond on the 8th carbon chain, while Delta-9 has a double bond on the 9th carbon chain. While this difference may seem insignificant, the slightly different chemical structure makes Delta 8 less potent.

What happens if you take too much Delta 8?

Like any cannabinoids in the hemp plant, Delta 8 THC is not classified as a toxic compound to humans. This means that taking a high dose of delta 8 does not put an individual at risk of toxicity. However, you may experience side effects such as anxiety, dizziness, dry mouth, and so on if you are a beginner. CBD may counteract these side effects.

How long does it take for Delta 8 edibles to kick in?

Edibles take longer to kick in as they pass through our digestion tract before getting into our bloodstream. As a result, it may take 30 - 90 minutes to experience its effects fully. However, the effect can last for 4 to 6 hours, providing lasting relief. In addition, since the liver metabolizes edibles, they create a more body-centered, evenly distributed high.

Are Delta 8 edibles strong?

Delta 8 feels pretty similar to regular THC but only milder. You can get high off it, but Delta 8 edibles are typically a little less potent. We always recommend that our clients treat Delta 8 the same as regular THC until they know differently.

What is Delta 8 high like?

According to Delta 8 users, the whole experience is very smooth and doesn't leave you lethargic or sedated. Instead, it promotes an uplifted and smooth high that leaves you calm and mellow with a relaxed mind. Additionally, Delta 8 is also accompanied by several health benefits such as pain relief, increased appetite, anti inflammation, and so on.

What are the delta 8 gummies effects?

D8 gummies take 30 - 90 minutes to kick in, and the effects can last for 4 - 5 hours. It can give you a “high” or “euphoric” feeling, but it is not the same as with Delta 9 THC. Instead of heavy sedation, you'll feel energetic and uplifted, improving overall performance and producing higher productivity throughout the day.

Is Delta 8 like K2 or Spice?

No. Delta 8 is a naturally occurring cannabinoid extracted from the hemp and cannabis plant whereas Spice and K2 are synthetic, that is, they don’t exist naturally in the cannabis plant at any stage. This makes delta 8 far safer than the cannabinoids found in synthetic weed products like K2 or Spice.

How long do Delta 8 gummies stay in your system?

How long delta 8 can stay in your system can vary from person to person for several reasons, such as an individual's body type, type of product, potency, frequency of use, etc. While delta-8 THC's effects last up to five hours in your body, the metabolites can stay in your system for up to 90 days.

What do Delta 8 gummies do?

Delta 8 gummies are perfect if you want to unwind and relax with an uplifted mood and enhanced productivity. Yes, it will get you high, but without the adverse side effects that Delta 9 THC can induce. In addition, Delta 8 can promote several health benefits such as discomfort relief, enhanced sleep and appetite, mood upliftment, and more

Does Delta 8 have side effects?

The biggest risk of Delta 8 products is that it is not regulated, which means they may contain harmful pesticides or compounds. You want to buy D8 products derived from organic hemp plants that have been third-party lab-tested for purity and potency. These products are much safer to use with minimal or no side effects. If you are new to cannabis, you may experience fear, panic, or disorientation. However, you will feel normal again once the effects wear off.

Is Delta 8 gummies legal?

Delta 8 gummies are legal in the United States if generated from the hemp plant rather than marijuana. Delta 8 THC is currently legal in several states, but not all. Some states have allowed it only for medical purposes, while others have placed restrictions on its use. It's worth noting that Delta 8 THC is only permitted if it's derived from hemp plants, containing less than 0.3 percent THC.

Does Delta 8 show on the hair follicle test?

Yes, Delta 8 THC will show up in hair follicle drug tests. Delta 8 will stay viable in the hair for up to three months in users who use delta 8 THC on a daily basis. A single or two doses are insufficient to register in a typical hair analysis test.
