Hippie & French, since 2018, has been providing the highest quality products for our customers in a welcoming, inclusive environment. We were the first CBD Boutique to open in the city of Pittsburgh, PA. We’ve since started calling ourselves a Cannabis Boutique due to evolution within the industry. She knew the area needed a welcoming storefront to make the product more accessible.
We sell CBD and THC products, derived from hemp, that are all scrupulously checked for quality and full panel tested for potency and trace contaminants /solvents. We have won Best Place to Buy CBD every year since we have opened (in multiple publications.) We’ve also won Best Head Shop, Best Product Launch & Best Collaboration (w/ Leona’s.)
Our store was founded by Lindsay French who believes in the healing powers of cannabis. She had struggled with migraines and addiction to opioids/fentanyl (clean 10+ years) She finds that the 1:1 products seem to work best for her (half cbd/ half thc.) But there is no one size fits all model. So you’ll need to try a few different things before finding a product that works perfectly for you.
Lindsay also believes in giving back. One of our favorite charities to donate to is Last Prisoner Project or Policing Equity.
Ms. French had a sales career previous to opening Hippie & French. So you’ll never find high-pressure sales tactics in our store. We want to get as far away from that model as possible. We will help you find the best products to fit your needs and be honest with you. We have a motto in our shop: “No question is a dumb question.” We want you to feel as welcome & comfortable as possible.
